LAR Art Studio Workshops are moving online.
In each online workshop I make space for art to happen and the deep seeds of creativity within you to bloom, all within the comfort of your own space. The classes are small and shaped for each participant to open up to their own creativity as I guide you through exercises, prompts, techniques and more.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PROCESS
All workshops are process oriented. It's more about a creative journey where attention is given to the "how" and "why," rather than reproducing a specific thing or the final painting. You will be encouraged to be fully present to all the process has to reveal about your materials, unique visual vocabulary, artistic voice and more. You will grow in your ability to trust your own intuition and let go.
ART IS FOR ALL
I believe that wholeheartedly. That is why I am intentional about shaping art making experiences where not matter your art knowledge and learning style you will awaken to or nurture your artist within; building a foundation of creative confidence
that can flow into all of who you are.
Workshops will open for registration on Friday, August 28 at Noon CST.
Spaces is limited to 8 -10 participants per workshop.
I would love to host you at my virtual art table.
I hope to see you there this fall.
If you have any questions you are welcome to email me HERE.

Tosin, Podcaster/Social Worker
"Spending time in Lanecia’s studio has become a sacred space for self-care, a time to exhale the uncertainties of these stressful times, and explore the stirrings in my soul. I have learned so much about art, about giving myself the space to create, and about leaning into the process without expectations. In short, these workshops are life-giving."
Trish, Spiritual Director
"Any time spent creating in Lanecia's studio is truly a healing experience. She offers a safe, warm and inviting space to allow creativity to flourish."
Vanessa, Artist/Art Teacher
"Lanecia's workshops have provided me with a contemplative, open and creative space to express and discover my inner artist."
Tara, Antique Appraiser
"Lanecia is a true creative and spiritual light in this world! I have experienced her artistry in numerous settings -- from intimate open studio sessions to large workshops with dozens of participants. I am continually inspired by the dimensions of creativity, self and soul that she shares personally and cultivates in participants."
Eleanor, Pastor/Artist
"Lanecia is cultivating a place for the soul in the heart of Houston. In this space imagination, intellect, mystery, justice and beauty are set free to create bridges across the divides. (This studio) is a counter narrative of hope and transformation."
Matthew, Pastor/Activist
"The inviting space, eclectic supply of materials of Lanecia's Creative Workshops open up a beautifully meditative time to create and explore. I am far from being a professional artist, but Lancia’s invitation to process life through the medium of art has been a great invitation to unlock my creativity inside her studio and out in the world."
Katy, Children's Pastor
