This is a contemporary art collection of cyanotypes that incorporate photography, flowers + found objects.
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. These selected works reflect on themes of memory, creation, motherhood, death, longing, separation + the life that continues after the moments that disrupt + alter our lives.
A majority of the works in this collection are professionally framed in minimalist wooden frames with glass spaces that allow the textures + the shaping of the surface that is a result of the creative process to be fully enjoyed.
The creative process for each includes darkness, light, water + air to become with a nice dose of intentionality + uncertainty a painted image of various shades of blue from the green.
