![]() One of the many joys of my life's work these days is helping others tap into their creativity & learn new ways of expressing themselves. It's fun to see what unique beauty comes out when we have the time, space and supplies to reflect & create. When I received an invitation to join the United Methodist Women of New World UMC in Arlington to lead a creative reflection workshop on "forgiveness" for their weekend retreat, I was honored & delighted to take LAR Art Studio back on the road again. I love to travel. I love opportunities to go on the road with my craft. It gives me so much life to experience the many pages of the world, meet new people & soak in the inspiration of life unfolding beyond Houston. My time in Dallas met all of my expectations and more. I met so many brave women who were willing to dive deep into the well of creativity within to explore what "forgiveness" & freedom. Along the way I got to see some legit art on the buildings & along the streets of Dallas, taste some of the best coffee I have had in Texas, breathe in the delightful scents of the Texas wildflowers and do what I love, all with my best friend & husband, Cleve, by my side. It was all a gift. Below are some scenes from the trip. If you are interested in learning how to host an art workshop or creative experience me, click HERE. I would love to partner with you to create something beautiful for your community, special event and/or conference.
