This past Saturday I had the honor of photographing the Katherine's Breakfast for Survivors and Fashion Show. It was my first time photographing a fashion show & I loved every single minute. The pieces worn on the runway were created by emerging designers from The Art Institute of Houston. They were amazing!
Hats off to Karena Poke & her team. What a lovely day of celebrating life!
Photographing the event yesterday fueled, challenged, surprised & inspired me as an artist & woman.
Photographs from the whole day can be viewed at Katherine & Everett Robinson Foundation facebook page. Katherine & Everett Robinson Foundation promotes positive youth development, encourages families to live healthy lifestyles & works to plan quality experiences with underserved families in Houston. Below are some of my favorite captures & pieces from the collection that came down the runway. Like I said, I had fun.
