Art & Prayer Workshop with Encaustic is a guided 2.5 hour process (6-8:30pm) using the spiritual practice of visio divina to help you prepare your heart for the season of anticipation, longing & hope as you tap into your creativity utilizing various art mediums to create an art meditation piece for the season of Advent.
In combination with encaustic, you will be introduced to the use of image transfer, embedding elements into wax, incorporating mixed media such as oil paint, pastels and paper as well as a variety of mark making devices and techniques as you create with intention, giving attention to what is revealed through the creative process + less attention to what you will ultimately create.
